A Cat Falls to Third Spot With Immortals On Top

Immortals, a new action flick that debuted this weekend, grabbed the number one spot away from a cat named Puss pulling in approximately $32 million. Not only did Puss in Boots lose the number one spot, but the feline fell to the third place on the box office as Adam Sandler’s Jack and Jill movie debuted in the number two spot. Other movies worthy of note – the Clint Eastwood directed drama – J. Edgar starring Leonardo DiCaprio premiered in 5th place.

Will Immortal’s stay in the top spot of the box office for two weeks running? Probably not as the latest in the Twilight Saga hits the big screen this Friday.
